Vodalys announces the Vodalys Bridge feature, designed to host “augmented Teams” live events.

The Vodalys.io platform now enables live video streaming with a premium experience, thanks to the advanced cloud video mixing features of Vodalys Studio and the customizable video portal capabilities offered by Vodalys Player.

With Vodalys Bridge, every event or webinar can become a powerful communication tool, capable of reaching both internal teams and the external audiences of Vodalys’ clients. The solution aims to create a unique format where recording and streaming are handled seamlessly and professionally.

Designed to simplify recording, streamline streaming, and expand the range of applications for video feeds, Vodalys Bridge integrates seamlessly with existing corporate IT infrastructure, enabling communications teams to get the most out of their Teams meetings.

Offer an enhanced event experience integrated with Teams

Teams is widely used by many companies, and recording equipment (cameras, audio capture) is often integrated into a MTR (Microsoft Teams Room) setup.

To deliver an enhanced event experience, the goal is to offer a simple solution that combines the ease of recording in Teams with the advanced video mixing and custom portal features of the Vodalys.io platform, all without technical complexity.
While it is certainly possible to produce this type of event today using live video production solutions like VMix or OBS, these options require the involvement of specialists, which can pose a problem depending on budget constraints or team availability. Vodalys Bridge simplifies this process, offering an accessible and effective alternative for all employees.

Vodalys Bridge, the gateway for connecting to video streams from a Teams meeting

The Vodalys Bridge feature directly addresses this issue. It makes it very easy to join a Teams meeting from any workstation in the company.

It allows you to select video feeds from presenters and easily integrate them as sources into the Vodalys.io mixer. The final video feed can then be enhanced with jingles, video graphics, and presenter captions before being streamed to the audience via the Vodalys Player video portal, delivering a comprehensive and professional event experience.

BETA TEST : OP Mobility – Plastic Omnium

Like many large companies, OP Mobility uses Microsoft Teams to stream its various events. The presentation of the Vodalys Bridge feature piqued the interest of the event teams and led to an initial rollout in the fourth quarter of 2025.

This experiment allowed the communications teams to test the solution under real-world conditions, integrate Teams feeds into the video mix, and apply graphics and captions. The results show that the feature can be used to create new live formats that are more personalized and tailored to the needs of both internal and external audiences.
